Day 1 — The desert introduces itself
You land in Calama and we're there waiting. An hour and a half later you're having lunch at the hotel, five and a half kilometers from the village, where all you can hear is silence.
In the afternoon you head into the Valle de la Luna and walk up to the Tres Marías. It's that time of day when the light slants in low and the salt on the ground starts to shimmer. That's where we serve you a cocktail, sitting back and watching the Cordillera de la Sal fade into dusk.
Back at the hotel, a barbecue. And once the after-dinner chat winds down, the next part begins: a private observatory, just for you. The Atacama sky is the clearest on the planet, and that night you don't share it with anyone.
